As we earlier reported, the rapper, whose real name is Michael Tyler, was sought-after by the police after a woman reported an incident that is alleged to have happened on October 22, 2016. Evidence collected from the scene matched the rapper and a certain 26-year-old called Averweone Holman.
Holman was arrested on Friday (August 18) by U.S. Marshalls. A third person, Tenichia Wafford, who tried to get the rape victim to retract her story, fled. She faces a charge for accessory to first-degree rape, and her bond is set at $200,000.
And Mystikal disappeared for three days, stirring worries that he may have committed suicide, until last night when he turned himself.
This is not the first time the Danger rapper would be facing such charges.
Mystikal previously spent six years in prison after pleading guilty to sexual battery and extortion. He was released in 2010. It is unclear if he will plead guilty or not in this present case.
